Good morning, everybody! Up early today to work at the hospital.

County fair this weekend, the fairgrounds is right next to where I live, so it's been fun watching them set up all the rides and everything. My wife will be working a shift or two in the textiles building with her quilting club. At least she will be in an air-conditioned space. We are expecting temps of 106-108 all weekend. I am expecting to drink a lot of beer.

And sunday night at the fair, Boat races! Always fun!

Actually, there's a somewhat good side effect to the boat races. They do it 3-4 times a year, and it rids the county of a lot of junk boats that are sitting around.
