Talked to my Dad, who lives in Canada, this afternoon. He brought up Turdeau banning the "guns that killed those people". I had to remind him that a gun did not kill those people, a deranged person killed those people.

Why does "the gun" always get a bad rap, when it is the bullet that does the actual damage...

That is what happens when you don't have a 2nd amendment. That said, we better hope and pray that dems never get total control here. Taking our firearms is at the top of their list, and a full on frontal assault on our freedoms is going to be exactly what happens. I'm pretty sure they do want a shooting war in America, and if they press it to that degree, that is exactly what they will get, and it ain't gonna be pretty.

Makes you wonder why major shootouts don't happen when everyone leaves the gun shop and all those weapons are in there without any supervision whatsoever.

I would think the "assault" *cough* weapons would just shoot the hell out of the handguns and shotguns as soon as the coast was clear.

what is worse and absolutely insane is Trudeau used his new powers under this emergency state to declare this law without any bill or vote.

ONE MAN UNILATERALLY MADE A LAW WIHTOUT ANY CHECK OR BALANCE.

That is fundamentally wrong and goes against everything a free and democratic country is based on.
