Doing some review of Cost Management material (my weakness). By far the most boring class and professor I've ever taken. I "learned' the material for the semester and now I'm going back and relearning it on my own.

I tell you, a good professor makes ALL the difference. The good ones I've had were engaging, broke the material down in laymen's terms (didn't try to speak down to the students), they spoke to the students not at them. And, were available to us without having to make an "appointment" to answer a sudden question or issue.

Hi everybody! I haven't been around here in ages. Work has been keeping me too busy.
I laughed when I read the name of the new bar - we have a tavern not too far from us called the Do Drop Inn.

Well, we spent about 3 days last week pulling down the osb and hanging dry wall in the garage. My father in law came over to help too. I'm surprised none of us had a heat stroke since the temps here were hovering around the 108* mark. We have a 4' fan so that helped too. By winter the mud and tape will be done so guess what I'll be doing again??

What have you been up to?

We finished the man cave this past winter - now we've moved on to the garage attached to the house. We were getting really tired of the osb on the walls. You'd think after all the painting and finish work from last year we'd take a break from it, lol.
