Chevrolet Hall of Fame Museum Trip

Hey everyone -

Yesterday, (Saturday May 7) some members of our Corvette group went to Decatur Illinois for a trip to see the Chevrolet Hall of Fame Museum.

Chuck (Midnight 85) put the trip together and invited via CF and other places anyone to come join us. WELL it was great to finally put some faces to the avatars and cars and threads from here and the dark side.

I never really paid auto museums much thought when i was younger, but really like to visit them when I find one these days. Always fun to go with other people who also know what you are looking at and will bs about it at length.

It was a good time. Museum was great but getting to meet some of the folks was the best part. It was an 8 hour round trip drive for me but I didn't want to let this opportunity pass me by. I always wanted to meet some of the Illinois guys. They all seem like good folkks.

And I was good, I didn't say one thing about the Cubs! By the way I hope I don't jinx the Cards, they start a series with the Cubs tomorrow.
