So I have had a sinus problem/cold the past week. On Friday my left jawline neck area was sore and swollen. Lymph nodes. That receded like my hair but now the right side is worse than the left was. It's hard to eat anything. I start hacking up mucus. My right side of my neck looks like a obese guy's neck. The medical sites all say it's normal for someone that has a cold. No suggestions on how to get rid of it. I have never had this happen.

That sucks......I guess your system just has to fight it off in time.
You can try all kinds of anti-inflamatory meds and naturals, but I haven't found any that work real fast.
I take garlic, turmeric with ginger, and glucosamine condroitin pills, but those are mostly long term remedies.

Great first half!

Good Morning everyone! .....

Late start today, and I didn't even party yesterday for the Superbowl.

Let's see who our brunch coffee mate will be.....

Then it probably wasn't the garlic. Lots of stuff in food that can cause that kind of reaction. You might even be alergic to something they put in it, or it's contaminated with anything from cleaning products to other really gross stuff.

I eat 99% of my food at home, and I make it. I've seen too many things.....

Never in my restaurant though. Clean record and spotless kitchen for the years I was open.

Good Morning everyone! ....... We got about 6 inches of the white stuff yesterday and about an inch over night. Glad I don't have to drive anywhere this morning......it's going to be bumper cars out there.

Rotten night's sleep for me.....actually NONE. Dang foot was giving me trouble, just enough to keep me awake.

Need some coffee and something for my tired eye's....let's see who we can find...

My plow truck needs a new wiring harness in order for the blade to operate. Another $300 plus two hours labor flying out of my pocket.

What did you do....melt the old one? So that'll cost about 500$? Hope it's worth it.

Morning all. Was excused from jury duty so I didn't have to report, so here I am. Took 3 hours to get home last night, just love it when they slide a launch to just before the commute home.

Anything that has garlic does it to me. I can't even take garlic pills to drive off the bugs.

Since I have been sick, I just took the day off for rest. Good call since the roads suck.

Good Morning everyone! .....Kells, I hope you're feeling better this morning.

Bitter cold out there today......-20C, -25C with the wind chill.

Time to get my java on so I better dig up a coffeemate du jour.......

Here's one that should take you way back to your childhood......not many young males didn't have a poster of her on his bedroom wall....
