If a mask GENUINELY stops the virus one, or both sides of every mask are collection points for the virus. They are either on the inside from an infected wearer, or the outside from others who are infected. Constant draws of breath THROUGH that collection point is absolutely going to pull in virus. Just as a dirty air filter draws dirt and dust in to the AC system. If you put a new oil filter in your car, will it scrub the engine oil? Nope. Contaminants will get through that filter because of the constant draw through those contaminants.

Antibiotics are given to control secondary infections and let the body focus on the virus. They are not a treatment for the virus itself. It's been mention often in the news.

Liberals love communism so it does create a dilemma.

Last Monday 11/10 as the day went on I wasn't feeling quite...right. Monday night it got worse. Coughing constantly, fever off and on. Tuesday it got worse so when I got off work I went to the doc. They decided I was symptomatic for Covid and gave me the test. I was not aware that if I agreed to take the test it would put me out of work until the results came back. Plus I was required to quarantine. Originally I was told three days or so. I started calling every day beginning Friday.
Sooo, it took until last night at 7:32 to get the results. They called me today about noon and told me I was negative, just bronchitis. If I had tested positive it was mandatory two weeks off, but that would have been paid. Instead I used all three sick days and four of my last vacation days. So this is twice I have been sick, twice I have been tested, and twice I was negative.
It's back to work tomorrow. About tired of this crap.

Be careful brother. A co worker of mine checked in to the hospital and was diagnosed with bronchitis. After a week of being treated for bronchitis, they ran a COVID test and he tested positive and is in pretty bad shape. Either one is bad enough, both together is bad news bears.

That sucks on several levels. First that it takes so long for your tests to come back, and secondly that they take the down time out of your sick leave.

Our tests here in Los Angeles are coming back within 24 hours. If you take it in the afternoon, the results come back the next morning.

Ironically, I tested negative on Tuesday, got a sore throat on Friday, tested Saturday and found out I was positive on Sunday.

I am now off until December, all of which is paid time off. Hopefully I’ll recover by then.

Way back in March when the masks mandates first went into affect, everyone was complying at work, but no one was getting ill. Gradually people got tired of it, and compliance with masks fell off. Then as fall rolled around people started getting sick again.. Just this past week, over six of my co-workers, myself included came down with Covid. We hadn’t really been taking our masks seriously, but I have been told, that since we got sent home, mask compliance mandates are back in full affect. My opinion is that your opinion that mask usage causes covid is faulty reasoning. What it really signifies if that Covid this time around really is on the upswing. I think they pulled the trigger too soon earlier this year. At least in my workplace, this is the Covid pandemic that everyone was warning us about.

If I was a doctor or EMS, I would never go near a Covid infected individual without a mask. Saying that wearing one is what causes Covid is just ridiculous.
Do you have a 5G cellphone? I read somewhere that COVID is caused by using 5G.

I usually keep a sinus infection or something. Plus asthma. Had bronchitis a little over a month ago and was tested then. I figured that was what it was now, too, but they wouldn't listen.

If I had tested positive I would get paid. Not sure I will now. Just have to see.

They said it was usually 24/48 hours but due to demand the labs are backed up.

My company does testing so we get tested for free. One of the employees had some doubt about the result and went to a clinic for a second opinion. He tested positive. A week later he tested negative twice, BUT received a letter from the county telling him he could be fined and charged if he leaves his house before receiving a second letter from the county. So, he is COVID free and can't return to work.

Doesn’t your company pay you for your Covid quarantine downtime? If I had a letter from the county saying I couldn’t return to work, I’d get paid for every day I was absent. They cannot make me stay home if I am not sick. To do so would be benefits abuse and we fire people for that.

Here in the City of Los Angeles, testing is free for all residents as often as we’d like.

It's not about that. We ALLLLLL want to get back to work. No slackers in our company. I've been working with a 102 degree fever. Not well, not fast, but giving it a shot.
