I agree 100%. Lots of entertainment value from thick skin. He plays the Ugly American so well he should be allowed to play here. Cancelling people is woke bullshit and for pussies, IMO. That's for the other place, not here.

I’m not going to speak for the current staff here, but when I was an Admin here and a Mod at both CF and VB, there’s a certain amount of unnecessary overhead that comes with dealing with people who do little more than spread innuendo and bait people into flame threads. It gets old….DAMN old…for the people charged with being the site’s zookeepers. This forum lets you get away with more than most, and certainly more than the state-controlled Corvette Forum. It’s not like he wasn’t given warnings that he was getting on people’s last nerve and plenty of opportunities to tap the brakes on his sophomoric behavior.

Most sensible people would get the message. Not him. No sir. He'll show us.

Many…in fact I’d say most people who post here have been a somewhat cohesive group for years. Some for decades. Many of us have met and consider each other personal friends. Many assist this site with financial support. You can’t just disregard their importance and criticism so you can cater to the one social misfit that comes here and stirs up shit so that everyone else can have a toadie to dogpile on. It's a pain in the ass. Just because you have the freedom to speak doesn’t mean you should always use it.

Like it or not, this isn’t a home for progressive social experiments. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, or the one.

I didn't mention money, that would be cost effective vs. efficient. You said it's easy for people who don't like someone to just ignore them. I said that nobody here likes STS, so it's just more efficient to get rid of him.
