Default Horsepower Challenge: Vipers Vs. Corvettes (Saturday September, 18th 2010)
Horsepower Challenge Viper vs. Corvette, Sept. 18, 2010 - Viper Club of America Discussion Forums

Annual show put on by local Viper club and the Corvette Club or Richmond. I will be cruising up again this year if the weather is nice. Trying to figre out where the caravan point is.

Currently I'm meeting a few Viper buddies at the first gas station on the right on 460 when you first get off of 58, but I think the local viper guys on that board are doing one as well... PMed a few of them.

Cool deal I have a dyno sheet showing 332 rwhp for the red car so that equates to 391 or so using 15%

The main caravan point is the Miller Mart on 460 when you just get off of 58. That's the main Viper caravan point too. Everyone is meeting at 8am, but driving up 460 straight to Richmond.

On second thought, I think I'll leave the ZR-1 at home, it never learned to play well with snakes! When we had the Dodge we would put them all out in the yard and the 2 Z's would always corner the snake and make it cry.

I will have to catch up with you guys later, I will be stopping by Williamsburg C&C leaving there around 9:30ish heading to Richmond. Anyone else on the peninsula wanting to meet at the Williamsburg C&C?

On the Viper thread, registration is between 9:00 and 12:00.

Brian, I saw this question regarding the HP competition on their sight.

This competition is just limited to the VCA and Corvette Club of Richmond for HP competition correct?

Is that correct?

I don't have a clue.... I can't remember last year, but I'm pretty sure they asked me my horsepower last year... or maybe it was the year before that I went. I really don't care about the HP thing.... I just like to cruise with fast cars and look at things that aren't all Corvettes.

EDIT: Just got off the phone w/ a Viper buddy... he's not a VCA member but he's pretty sure the HP challenge is indeed limited to VCA members and Corvette Club of Richmond members. I don't know anyone in the Corvette Club of Richmond so I can't 100% verify.

Doesn't change where you an park and participate in the show etc.
