C6 seats in a C5
I've seen several forum posts on this that sounded good...a little difficult but workable. Started looking for black, sport seats in excellent, used condition w/o any luck....your thoughts ?

I am in Carlisle PA right now or I would post pics, but I purchased a set of Z seats with 3k miles on them off the forum for $800 Shipped. I took my original Z seats out and bolted these to them and it took me less than 2 hours.
Much netter seat look and comfort wise. Easy Mod! Mario |

Last year at Carlisle I found a set of black C6 seats (I would refer to them as sport seats as they had all the adjustments) for $1,200. They were without flaws. I tried to talk my brother into buying them for his 97 but he wasn't interested.
They are out there; you just have to look. |

You use the frames from the C5 Seats and keep the electrical components with them. You take the C6 seats and bolt to the C5 brackets and your done. Tuck the electrical under the seat like it was.
It was very simple in my Z. Some guys use the c5 cover plate and some use the c6 cover plate to cover the controls i left mine exposed. Heres some quick Iphone pics ill try to get better ones up! Mario |

I went from the stock seats to Sparco roadsters to these!
Sparcos where great but came with a comfort price this is my DD! These are much more stylish, new foams, and a bit more support. For the cost of new leathers I got new seats so I cant complain. I know a vendor sells temperpedic foam bottom replacements ill see if i can find the link! Mario |
