Learning a little bit and with a child with type 1 diabetes it takes survival up a notch. But a simple faraday cage can contain a 2kw generator and electronics that you want shielded and then an old deep freeze along with an old fridge and fully stocked . Water filters and disinfectant tabs. It’s hard to let our minds roam to that place where power is knocked out coast to coast, especially by EMP .. it’s ugly and sends us back to 1800 but with 1000x the idiots.

As someone who was born in the 70s, I did not get my first cell phone until 1999. My family and I will be OK…. It will be inconvenient but OK.

I highly suggest it and glad he suggested it. I rings the reality of an EMP and sending us right back to year 1800 or worse. We’ve become sheep led to the slaughter over the last 60 years. 90% of our population is totally screwed and they don’t even know it.
