The scary thing these days with parking brakes is almost all of them (like everything else) are electric. I always wonder if that motor took a shit on you would you be able to release the PB ?

I rarely use the parking brake on any vehicle with an automatic transmission, unless I'm parked on a significant slope, which, in Houston, is rare. Why? Because if I do, I'll inevitably leave it on, pull out, then figure it out when the vehicle seems sluggish after 50'.

With a manual transmission, it's automatic to pull and release the parking brake. I don't know, it's just a mental thing for me.

80-90k gets you a Platinum or Raptor.
