It would have to say Hiring dummies $20 an hour for him to qualify.

I used to listen to Bob and Tom. That show was funny as hell! Thanks for the Todd Snider clip. Beer Run is great, and try Double Wide Blues!

YMMV.
Having NY plates may make the difference. I had no problem in the 11 years that I was a resident.

However, as a visitor, this happened. When I pulled out of the side road the cop was far down the road. He obviously sped up to close the gap, basically forcing me to accelerate quickly and a tiny bit longer than I should have. I hired an attorney and she used this evidence to quash the ticket.

You even came to a complete stop at a rural, deserted intersection. Impressive.
It's been way too long since a Yadkin road video. Thank you.

I've been trying to get my fix with break check and trucker crash videos on youtube, but they pale in comparison. Plus, they have the speed in MPH...who needs that? It's fun to have to convert.

My favorites are the ones with the end dump trailers fully extended(3-5 stage) going down the freeway approaching an overpass-anticipation factor high!

After @Onebadcad, I'm the world's best driver.

Seriously though, taking a left onto a highway gets more and more serious as we age. That cop was an ass for trying to make it more difficult.

Whut? As you said, he was waaaaay back, you didn't need to take off faster, or exceed the speed limit. As you said, look how long it took for him to catch up with you, and that's with your assertion that he was really trying to catch you.

You didn't misjudge how far back, or how fast he was going. You weren't "forced to accelerate quickly and a tiny bit longer." The dash cam proves it.

I don't know about your speed, it didn't seem excessive to me. The only crime I actually saw was, your front bumper is over the stop bar at the intersection, so even though you stopped fine, it was still an improper stop, because you're supposed to stop before the stop bar, even though nobody does.

Either that or I misjudged his speed prior to moving forward. But he must have been doing well over the speed limit, because when I got onto the main road and looked in my rear view mirror, he was approaching rapidly. So I sped up to give him room.
