Power steering brackets for 327/350 h.p.

My 1965 had the original 300 h.p. engine and I am now installing a 383 with a stock 8” balancer. My mechanic says the ps brackets interfere with the balancer.
He ordered different brackets (still waiting on him to find out part number and where he ordered them) I am assuming he ordered brackets for a 1965 350 h.p. Has anyone run into a problem with this?

I run a BB, but interested in how your problem was resolved.

I just ordered the brackets for a 1965 with 350 h.p. and p.s. from CC as power steering was available with that engine in 1965. It like the 365 h.p. has the same 8” balancer.
