It got even darker, like night time. Only lasted a couple of minutes, the light started coming back very quickly.

And now, at 3:27 it brightened up quite a bit -- like a big thunderstorm is coming again.

I should have travelled to Dallas, as had an invite, and a plane seat, I would have brought my clubs!!

I just checked radar, there was a big group of clouds that went over me right before and during. All the people who traveled here with their sun glasses must be pissed, although it didn't show that heavy cloud cover in Rochester where most of them probably are.

We had a partial (75%?) in August 2017 and it was clear out, so saw the whole thing. This was much, much darker and I'm sure the cloud cover helped it.

I will be 95 about a week after the next one. Pretty sure I ain't gonna make it.

My front yard at 3:21 this afternoon. It was actually darker than this picture shows, almost like full night time with no moonlight, but that only lasted a minute or so. It was amazing how quickly the light came back:
