Good morning everyone.

Anyone heard from Mike? Wondering how Marianne is doing.

Our officer that took a direct hit from an F-150 is still in critical condition. Had to go back into surgery and had some setbacks.

Went outside and did a lot of yardwork before the 89° temps hit.

I’m so ready for fall, bonfires, jeans, boots, cable sweaters and yes everything pumpkin spice.

Have I told y'all how much I hate Fire ants?

Spent the morning replacing boards on the pasture fence. Replaced 4 and was measuring for the 5th. Happened to look down and my pants legs were covered with them. Quickest I ever made it to the carport. Brushed off as many as I could see but the ones that were inside the pants legs got me 10 times on one leg and 6 on the other before I could get my pants off. Going to go back out and kill them suckers after a beer or two.

Omg! The stings from fire ants are terrible. Like a wasp!

Hope you don’t have a reaction.

Sure you know; take antihistamine and you can make a baking soda paste and apply to lessen pain swelling. Also can crush an aspirin in there.

I use Benadryl spray on the bites after a quick washing of the area. A couple beers tend to help.
