BTW. Ahoy, mateys! Today is International Talk Like a Pirate Day, so here’s a cheat sheet for all you landlubbers hoping to appear seaworthy at work today:

Substitute “me” for “I” (i.e., “Methinks these sales estimates are a little aggressive”).
Leverage the The Five As: ahoy, avast, arrrrghh, aye, and, when addressing a figure of authority, aye-aye.

Confidence, confidence, confidence! Being a pirate is all about having conviction, even if your mutiny fails and results in you getting cleaved to the brisket (don’t look that up).

I'm a bachelorette till Thursday night.


Hubs had to go to investigations seminar, conveniently at Hard Rock Casino, so gambling and golf will be involved.

What's a girl to do?


If it were not so hot I would install the Dynamat in the vette, or go finish installing the brake hoses to reservoir bottles and bleed the brakes on the E-type.

Open the door from the garage to the house and put a fan in to blow cooler air in and get the C3 done!

Have they found many more parts at the shop for the C3?

No more parts since they located the new top and one missing front shock.

Keep hoping as they clean the garage it will be located but of course with lots of folks in and out of there, some parts have likely been trashed, others been "removed".

DUB did not throw anything away, according to many that knew him, so the parts WERE there, where they are now is a complete mystery.

I initially wondered if filing with my insurance (1K deductible) was worth it, but as I add up parts, I think it will me. Some nuts and bolts missing are pretty pricey, it adds up quickly.

Methinks it's hot out now.. Argggg.

Groceries were purchased, gas was 299 a gallon.
Guess they didn't buy much when I was gone as the bill was high.

Ran da walk behind weed wacker, argggg it hurts me hands.
Couple more outdoor chores to be done and it's humid out unfortunately.
