Yes, the ponies and old horse spend the night in their stalls whenever the low is forecast to be below 38 degrees. My wife set that temperature.

Horrible high winds yesterday. I skimmed almost a bushel basket of leaves off the top of my pool before they could sink.

Snow expected to start shortly after noon today. Going to snow until tomorrow. Only expecting 3 or 4 inches though. I will be making pasta and stuffing raviolis this afternoon. Made the filling yesterday to break up all the work involved. Used Biba Caggianio's ground chicken recipe for the filling. I tend to cook when the weather gets bad.

I dig snow, but this subzero with -22 windchill is nuts.

Working in rescue, it is nuts all the idiots that leave animals out in this.

Keeping the greenhouse warm enough to keep form losing all my plants has been a project. 2 electric and 1 propane heater. Turn the propane off at night.

Ben, how is your greenhouse holding up?

Too many idiots here in OK do not GAS about their pets or livestock.

A Husky or St. Bernard can tolerate the cold better but Boxers (like mine) or any breed without an undercoat cannot.

The electric heater in the green house has been keeping the interior temp at about 20 degrees higher then outside.

The ponies and old horse will be brought in around 4 o'clock this afternoon and will have to stay in tomorrow (high 36) and tomorrow night (low 20). Going to be a lot of manure to clean out of the stalls on Wednesday.
