i'll let u know. about to go see how my homemade laundry detergent did on a tough load of sheets, socks, undies, washcloths with makeup and wet stinky shirts that i found under the swimsuits at the bottom of the basket

ok. results... i used 1/2 cup of detergent and the washcloths with waterproof mascara and the hand towel that i use to clean my makeup brushes every morning werent as clean as id like. everything smelled ok (no real scent) and seemed clean but..... im rewashing the load with 3/4 cup. im guessing that will be a more appropriate size for a full load.

as for the vinegar... holy crap!!! the cars are already covered in snow and ice. i dont have an extra sprayer so i took 1/2 cup vinegar and poured it along the top of the windshield. INSTANT ice melt. amazing! so i used my hand to spread it down to the wipers. we'll see if it wipes right off in the morning. so - at the very least, if you want a super cheap deicer - use vinegar in a spray bottle
