A question for those who troll internet forums...

Is your life really so f**king pathetic that you have nothing better to do than make up names and start shit on the internet? Perhaps you should step back, look into a mirror and look at the douche bag that you really are.

Internet trolls, you know who you are, are sad people, living their lonely lives vicariously through those they see as strong and successful. Disrupting a forum gives you the illusion of power and importance. You see any response as 'recognition' and lack the basic life skills to be able to distinguish between irritation and admiration. Your pathetic little ego grows directly in proportion to the response, regardless of the form or content of that response.

The trolls themselves of course dispute this, claiming that it's a game or joke which merely confirms it. How sad do you have to be to find such mind-numbingly trivial time wasting to be funny?

I am sick of this sh*t. There is a difference between good natured joking amongst friends and getting whatever pathetic gratification you get out of pissing people off on the internet. If you can't figure out which group you fit in, it is the latter... and you will cease to exist on this forum.

Internet Troll Personality Disorder

Internet Troll Personality Disorder (ITPD) is characterized by a persistent pattern of obstructing of on-topic discussion in online forums where the trolling individual is not welcome and comments on threads. People afflicted with ITPD may purposefully present themselves as being overly personable, intelligent or sincere in order to compensate for other shortcomings. Often times they disingenuously express strong emotions with an impressionistic style, pretend to throw arbitrary tantrums, and never hesitate to contribute absurd, non-sequitur remarks at any perceived opportunity.

The etiology of ITPD is still being researched, but scholars agree that afflicted individuals usually enjoy some type of unfulfilling (and unsupervised) employment situation where they have access to computers with Internet connections or large blocks of unsupervised free time.

These are individuals that may have tens of thousands of posts on multiple website in a vain effort to try to fit in.

This explains so much on so many levels with so many people we have crossed path with, both past and present.

Brian, does this mean there's going to be a "less tolerance" policy for trolls?? If so, you have my vote.. If they start there sh#t I say "BAN CAMP" is the place they belong....

..You have put up with way more mouth from some of them then any one would expect of you..I admire your restraint, but I say burn there Azzes from now on.. .WW
