I buy Totino's pizzas, sometimes for as little as $1 when they are on sale then add toppings and more cheese to them.

Those are definitely good. Just twice the price of Red Baron, but profits all go to charity, especially veteran's stuff, so I do buy them some.

There's no frozen pizza that comes close to a fresh from the pizza place pizza, so I don't try to find one. When I just need a quick snack or meal, I just rely on the old faithful Stouffers French Bread pizza, it's pretty good and doesn't aspire to anything beyond what it is.

If i lived where you live, I would never eat frozen pizza ever.

I actually have made pizzas from scratch (dough, sauce, and all) in the yeast bread baking class I taught back in NY, but with how few times I will eat them these days, the 'semi-homemade' version works well enough in a pinch.

Tombstone is always my go to Frozen Pizza. I think they're better than the others!

We have no pizza place in our town, only Pizza Hut and Dominos.

Tombstone 5-cheese as a base to add our own toppings to is our best choice if we don't feel like actually making a pizza.

Today's concoction (because cold & rainy)...thin crust with mascarpone, mozz, diced peaches, basil, and balsamic glaze.

Protein is 1/2 grilled marinated chicken breast, other 1/2 is grilled marinated London broil.

Marinade is 24 hrs in balsamic vin, olive oil, onion & garlic powders, and Italian herbs (basil, oregano, parsley, etc).

Looks tasty!

FWIW, I had a frozen Paul Newman's Pizza last Friday and it was actually pretty good.

Was the meat leftovers or cooked specifically for this?

Neither. I make my proteins ahead of time, freeze, and add to whatever meal I am making during the week...be it a salad, sandwich, pizza, rice/quinoa/noodle/pasta bowl, etc.
