He has notes for the reporter's questions. He keeps flipping through, and often just looks down, reading the script. Having said that, he's only gone blank a handful of times, and manages to recover somewhat, after a few seconds of awkward silence. I'd also like to know if he's reading also from teleprompters.

Well, he did a good job of covering up their failed border policy by presenting a figure that hides the facts: Border crossings always increase in January so nothing is different in 2021 than past years.

The fact is that border encounters have more than doubled under the Biden administration compared to Jan-Feb of prior years. Encounters historically increase in January, but that has nothing to do with the fact that encounters have skyrocketed after he invited them in with his campaign rhetoric.
