A mob of BLM protesters gathered outside of the Columbus Police headquarters Tuesday night after an officer-involved shooting death of 15-year-old Makiyah Bryant.

According to WBNS, officers were called to the 3100 block of Legion Lane just after 4:30 PM for a stabbing and a shots fired call at 4:45 PM.

The police shot a 15-year-old girl who reportedly was carrying a knife.

15-year-old Makiyah Bryant was also reportedly involved in a fight before police responded to reports of an attempted stabbing.

No other details of the officer-involved shooting was released Tuesday night, however Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginther said the officer’s bodycam footage will be reviewed as soon as possible.

The problem is that for all the tough talk on the internet, law-abiding citizens consider taking a life to be crossing a rubicon that you can't come back from and so they are much more reluctant to pull the trigger. These idiots have no conscience and nothing to lose, so it doesn't matter to them.

That said, if a full-fledged fire fight did erupt, it would end badly for the protestors (which, sadly, is probably what has to happen at this point to get this shit to stop).

Cop should have backed off and called a social worker. I saw the video. He saved at least one girl's life that day. Is the cop going to get any credit for that? Nope.

This was a worst case scenario for the cop, a Hobson's Choice. Do nothing, and at least one girl probably dies at the hands of the knife wielding heifer and he gets blamed for that. Shooting the, uh, person of knife?, well, we see how that worked out.....dude is vilified and his life as he knows it is functionally over.

How many of the people who were watching would be willing to stop the girl from stabbing anyone? Based on their actions NONE of them tried to stop the dead girl.

In the future have them call BLM or the DNC stop the violence.
