Which is why it is well suited to a Martini.

I can also have a drink, or two, of Zyr, without negative after effects (headache).

Can't give you a scientific reason why, just my experience from trying many different Vodkas in my Martinis over the years.

I'm assuming that's where the distillation / filtration process makes a difference.

My opinion is Vodka is for amateurs and drunks, good gin is all that's really necessary for great Martini. I do use a touch Vermouth, no more than a 5 or 6 drops in each Martini glass full.
By the way, Jalapeño stuffed olives are the fecking BOMB!!
