Default Hurricane Idalia
If you're in the path be safe. Not looking like much for us here on the Atlantic coast, but could be on the other side of the state. NOAA predictions are for significant rainfall and storm surge on the Carolina coasts, with more rain there than most of FL.

Sucks, I'm literally starting a pier renovation tomorrow here west of Orlando - or - maybe not... If the thing doesn't shift it should just be some medium winds and a bit of lake surge. This was IRMA (my neighbor lost his pier). Luckily we've had a dry summer so the lake levels are much lower now..

looks like Duval County Schools just decided to shut down for Tues-Thursday. I am guessing Clay, Nassau and St. Johns (which are close) will do the same and that means the college I work for will also shut down.

Guess I'm stocking up on water, canned goods, and more beer after work.

The Panty Dropper will be charged and if my power goes out, I will most likely end up at my parents' place for a bit.... especially since I loaned my truck to Dad for a couple of weeks.
