Yep feed prices are up about 8%.

Got the shrubs planted Added a couple inches of topsoil and fertilizer to one of the larger beds and tiled it in. Wife is still trying to decide what she wants where.

The guy is going to kill it first time he sees it I bet and trying to get him to not and let nature and the law take it's course. I might put camera up and watch what the dog does and send to animal control but it's way away from house/barn and power, like 600 ft i bet so looking for options that is not a trail camera. Although I've been meaning to trench all the way to the road and put power in out there.... Price of wiring out of control still.

Pfft. All you have to do is drag it onto your property before calling the county to come get the dead dog.

Well son decided to try and seize a motor with 275k on it today...he was getting on it and screech... He coasted into a parking lot. I'd told him baby that car it's old and we'd been fixing things for amcouple years and should have lasted another 50 to 100 k.
I couldn't get it to start and main battery terminals were loose and found the bolts half stripped so off to get bolts. Even swapped in a know good battery and wouldn't start even with jumper pack... Hmmm
Took belt off nope same. Didn't have wrench to turn engine back and forth unfortunately. I got it to start after a bit.. And it was noisey and stalled in gear. At first sounded valve train, by the time i got it home somebody was beating on the crank. Barely got it to start again and managed to back onto lift before seized. Dropped pan and 2 rods were a flopping already and bearings are gone, crank is almost black from heat. He may die when gets home from work. Good thing he has money to burn.
Engine about 1/3 of the way out already, shoukd be out by noon tomorrow. My hands are hating me and how.

Anything over 200k is bonus time IMO.

If he'd not beat on it as it was in fine shape except for lifter noise at startup it would have made it several years.... He told me i just drive it like I drive your car... Wait wut... I have an indy car engine with 300 hp designed to be flogged and run for 50 miles without coolant.. YOU have a little old lady car dumbass with almost 300k on it... Oh and I know how to rebuild my engine...
I was sitting outside when he left today and could hear him getting on it from 1000 ft away and was already on agenda to have a talk about it. Told him better work some OT this week...
