I’m the youngest of three brothers. It’s funny how one tormented me growing up and the other was my protector. Those roles seem to have reversed since we became adults.

The owner that really saved me that day was named Morris Bergman. When he died, I was heartbroken. The Mrs came in and tried, but failed quickly at the deli business. He was the magic!

I still hear him saying, “hurry up, before the bell goes off” while picking a single piece of candy from what felt like 100 choices!

I loved this man, he gave me my first job! And so much more!
