When I do sauce I toss the tomatoes in a blender first. That obliterates the skins and seeds.

Nope. A little right on the river (west side of the island). Most of the island is higher than any storm surge, with many 200+ year old houses and other buildings. We’ve had power all day, less than 2” of rain and 30-ish mph winds. The eye is 100 miles offshore of here now and it’s quickly moving away.
