As an adopted kid, it's always been in my DNA to prove my worth, because I was given away. Was I trash? Was I not worthy? I'm pretty sure this has factored heavily into my personality.

Irony is that I no longer have ties to my adoptive family (23 years and counting), but have had a fairy tale relationship with my birth mother for 29 years. As a child given away, I want my mom to be proud that she made the right decision.

Through a lot of successes and failures, I've gotten to a really nice place in my career. I'm not selfish, and I like to share the wealth, as evidenced by the many things I've done financially for various causes on this forum. I never learned to be humble, and I'm not average, but I like to give and share my success with others. If that makes me a bad person, then I guess I'll go to the grave being a bad person. In some ways, my posts at least add entertainment value to the forum because of the wide-ranging topics that they may cover. Having said all of that, I will always brag on GWiz. She's DWiz 2.0 and a much better human than I am.

Others may feel the need to pass judgement.

i didn't originally call you out for your lack of humility, i called b.s. on you for claiming you were the only human being on the planet affected by a solar flare that every solar flare related source of record said it would have zero affect on Earth. And I've never ever commented on your family.
