If anything it will spread peak internet use more around the clock. If you're home all day and night, your internet usage will tend to be more random.

My net is slow here especially weekends already so I'll probably have zero chance of streaming movies now. Where the hell is Blockbuster Video when you need them.

Put a land line back in and use AT&T over the wire like I do. No fiber optic here, and we live so far back from the road Cable refused us service. We get TV over satellite but internet from there is usuriously priced. No issues streaming here.
