First Time Out With This

The Taurus TX22, just some plinking and target shooting fun, I am by no means an expert, never was, I usually fell into the occasional sharpshooter or mostly marksman designation when qualifying.

My age, eyesight, and a bad case of arthritis in my right shoulder is not helping out but I still like to shoot.

I do not like futzing around reloading mags, so from now on I'll preload 16 rounds per mag and fire off 96 per session, plenty for me.

I'm planning on going once a week at this new range, who knows, I may get better............

Sounds like a good plan. Most 22lr ammo is soft lead. Typically by the time I shoot 100 rounds bullets are hitting the target sideways (keyholing) because of leading in the barrel.

I just purchased the 9mm to .45 double stack mag loaders and it works perfectly and EASY.

The AR mag loader is pretty slick too.

easy solution.... every couple of mags, put a shot of this stuff down the barrel. Works great and will clean out the lead deposits. I have friends that reload and they use either lead rounds or teflon coated lead rounds. Never have a problem with it when you use this stuff.
