Michigan's Jim Harbaugh Suspended

The Big Ten has come down hard on Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines.

The conference announced Friday that Harbaugh will not be allowed to coach for the remainder of the 2023 regular season after it said that Michigan "has been found in violation of the Big Ten Sportsmanship Policy for conducting an impermissible, in-person scouting operation over multiple years, resulting in an unfair competitive advantage that compromised the integrity of competition."

I sure wish they wouldn't lose their QB's in their first year in the Big 10. Those guy would have lit up the Big 10 opponents.

I should add...

The game today can be one where the offense doesn't huddle, so signals still need to be sent in for the ten other players.

There's a fairly new video of Joe Burrow calling plays in the huddle. It's freaking unbelievable the amount of crap he's throwing out.

One game suspension is enough punishment. It is hard to believe that
Michigan is the only team to send "scouts" to other games. They will give
a full report including signals.
Michigans 9 and 0 season had nothing to do with the severe penalty.

This from the News article this morning:

The Big Ten, in a 13-page letter to Michigan athletic director Warde Manuel, said while there was no direct evidence linking Harbaugh to the alleged scheme — it was said to be organized by staffer Connor Stalions, who has since resigned after allegedly purchasing tickets for associates to attend games of future UM opponents and videotape their sidelines — Harbaugh deserves the punishment as the face of the program.

In every other sport if that is the case, it is a financial penalty.
