No it's not fare that everyone isn't paying taxes ... it's also not fare that guys 7 foot guys can block a 5 footers shot ... but that's life.

I would certainly agree that trying to get money from those who have none is inherently stupid. I mean, unless you're the mob, and then people always seem to find some money.

But I would definitely take exception to the assumption that the 47%: "don’t have ANY money". That's just patently unture. Americans have been coming to grips with the ridiculous spending lifestyle, as individuals and as a nation, over the last decade. The credit and housing bubbles gave us a feeling of being rich, and the feeling was definitely false. The entitlement attitude that was so entrenched in the American psyche has not disapated. People still feel entitled to other people's wealth in the name of fairness. People with no skin in the game do not deserve to sit at the table and make decisions concenring the nations future. As you stated, life isn't fair for 5 foooters. But if we can get government the hell out of the way, some people are going to find their inner Muggsy Bogues and leverage their natural 5ft state into an advantage. That's the American dream, equal opportunity, not equal outcome.
