Freakin' stinkbugs!
Damn things are everywhere trying to get in.
You shoo them, they spray. You swat them, they spray. They land on you, they spray. You look at them hard, they spray. And with fall setting in, they are all trying to get in. |

A shieldbug imported from China.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brown_marmorated_stink_bug Damn things spray when threatened. The smell is not as bad a skunk, but unpleasant just the same. I don't think anything eats them. What would want to? |

Never saw them here in Missouri but we have a shitload of Japanese beetles which, BTW, I despise. We treat our yard for grubs, none of my neighbors do though.

Was asking what they were, because we have had a herd of bugs that look similar to them, but they appear red in color, they show up in giant clusters of hundreds, don't know what they are either.

But, they're so crunchy and tart! Not one gram of fat on 'em either AND THEY'RE FREE! Who says there's no such thing as a free lunch!

Carb cleaner, etc...not good for when they are already in the house. We have small numbers of them and they tend to just sit on the walls or other surfaces.
If I can reach them, I just grab with a paper towel and smash immediately. So far no problems. |
