You know, this would not at all surprise me if it were true.

I worked at Disney Imagineering in Glendale, CA for awhile before moving to Texas. It was a very long time ago and I'm not privy to everything, but the engineering involved in that park is absolutely mind-boggling. What I do know is that moving Disneyland, even in the state it was in shortly after it was built, is impossible. The subterranean area that is filled with equipment, water and electric lines as well as roads and tunnels encompasses an area larger than the park itself and almost as deep. That's just for starters. Some of the older rides would not survive disassembly, move and reassembly. Whoever is suggesting this needs to have their prescription meds updated.

According to a quick search, Disneyland is 500 acres while Disney World is 43 square miles. Yeah, let's just move that 43 square miles of infrastructure to TX.

Exactly. I used to wonder where people come up with these looney ideas. But in the last few years I've come to realize just how full of dumbasses our population is.

And anyway...we have plenty of theme parks.

I never been there to the Ca. location, visited once some 20+ years ago to the Floriduh location, when the ex brought the kids down from DC......

43 sq MILES?? sounds a bit mutch......and WTF is the diff between World and Land?? I ASSumed it was the same thing/place, 500 acres makes sense, I suppose but 43 sq MILES???

Do you even need condoms, at your age?

As long a politician is making money out of it, it will go on like any story we have been told before.
