The moderators here do just fine so They wouldn't ask.

In general, I would not be a moderator anywhere. Because it would force me to be a hypocrite as an advocate for free speech, big boy pants, fighting your own battles, not getting butthurt etc.

I'm not saying there isn't a need for a mod to step in if a dangerous situation has developed, but the definition of hostility or personal attack over there, seems to include the use of an exclamation mark.

If someone's psyche is so delicate that they can't handle pushback, they need to grab their pacifier and call "nap time".

Ok, I have to say, this did make me laugh.

If you "care" about the forum, you make it known that creating a danger to another member will not, under any circumstances be tolerated, but you do invite a wide range of opinions from all members. A recommendation to the delicate flowers to avoid the political discussions if they are not willing to accept opposition is certainly a clear message.

Puppies need to stay out of the dog fight. Moderate the pussies to stop being pussies. It would be far easier.

That's where you are wrong. If they could not find moderators because of the ridiculous rules, the rules would change.
