Going to spend all day at the hospital today (9am to 4pm).
Labs, Oncologist visit(added yesterday), Neurologist Visit,
then off to radiology for a lung tap.

Tuesday's visit with the Oncologist revealed that the chest scan last week
showed reduction or stabilization of the numerous masses in the left lung, lymph nodes, and areas around the kidneys, liver, spine, and pancreas.
Bad news is fluid build up around the heart, both lungs, and inside the left lung.
The "tap" today is to determine if the fluid is cancerous, or just a water retention/pneumonia side effect from the Trabrecta (Catmatinib} target drug Marianne is on.
The 2 specific target drugs she's on, specifically the Catmatinib,has pretty much rendered her bed ridden, with gut pains, diarrhea, and no appetite.
She has previously been on Lasix for water reduction back in April, but her Dr. tries to avoid this due to weight loss. We should have "tap"result tomorrow, and the Dr will either reduce the Catmatinib dosage by 1/3, or prescribe lasix, or both. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Now, as for the Neurologist Visit, we already know the results of that scan are good, no new signs of cancerous masses, and the previous 2 masses detected in Feb. are completely gone. This will be a quick visit. This is good news, as both target drugs are considered cross-over drugs (works on metastasized cancers)
