I usually call up a family member from my fake radio station... "WDUM" and ask them some questions about family, then ask about a specific person, and let them know that person entered them into a contest and that they've won the grand prize. I'll keep it going for a while knowing that they will call other family mambers who give me reports about what's going on. then I drop the hammer...... I'm surprised none of them have really figured out the schtick yet.

I'm doing something similar to the President of our Shriners Club tomorrow.

I love April Fools Day....I just need to plan ahead. Thanks for the reminder.
Now i will put all other things on hold and make some plans for tomorrow..
Hahha.

I used to do many phone call tricks to relatives ...from the store telling them their boat or whatever is in...Your husband ordered a 16' aluminum boat....
WTF???? Gets them every time..hahaha

I think people should dress up like Santa and go trick or treating.
I may do that.

I need some new pranks for the wife.

The one about her having to take penicillin for my kidney infection didn't go over so well.

I usually don't do April Fools pranks, but here's one someone can use. April 1 is on Friday this year so the timing is perfect.
Tell your wife you want to take her out to your towns best, fanciest restaurant. Have her dress to the nines (you'll have to do the same to pull it off).
Buy her a corsage and hire a limo for transportation.
Have the driver take you to Micky D's instead.

I did this several years ago:

Quote:
Last year I placed a paperclip on the glass of the copier and then made 10 copies. After that, you have 100 blank pieces of paper with a silhouette of a paperclip on it. Take those pieces of paper and put them back in the copier. so whenever someone makes a copy - it comes out with the paperclip on it.

Well - it may backfire - because when I did this last year for April fools - I noticed that the copier repair guy trying to figure out wtf the paperclip was in the machine and had the thing in parts. I snickered - but who knows what that may have cost us to have him do - he was there for hours and every copy he made - it had the clip on it - and then "poof" it stopped. He finally said the clip must have fallen in the machine deeper and did not appear to be causing a problem - so he "resolved" the case. This year - I am going to use something a little more unlikely - like a hand or something that is highly unlikely to be "in" the machine.
Original thread:

Can I confess to something? - Corvette Forum

Works like a charm - and will be happening again tomorrow.
