Kevin that is some awesome engine porn and so glad your monster is back on the road for the summer season to enjoy all that new power

Thanks Steve. It's just your average little street build...

I changed the oil and had it out this evening. Still nuts.

Looks incredible, thank you for the updates. Hope you can find some Meats for the rear end that will give you some more bite! I'm running c6Zo6 325/30 19 Invos out back and still break em loose so I can only image with 700 + hp.. Keep her between the Lines

Well, the car passed the Ultimate Drivability Test - Northern VA rush hour.

My commute is 35 miles up Rt 66 and around the Beltway. Traffic flows between 80 and 0 MPH with a few spots of creeping along. This car is really no more difficult to drive than a stock 6 speed. It's easier in many respect in that I leave it in 6th gear for speeds over 25MPH. It pulls off cleanly from basically idle RPM in 6th gear. It's like driving and automatic.

To say the least - merging is not a problem.

As posted on CF:

In keeping with forum rules...I did not have a Mustang with wide rear tires and skinny fronts chase me down in a lighter traffic area. I did not see him coming up strong behind me. He did not pull up beside me and didn't throw a few revs at me. I didn't downshift into third when I wasn't going 70 and I didn't ruin his little day...

As I would have posted on CF, if they weren't a buncha pantywastes:

Fixed that for ya buddy!

Had the car out today and finally felt the clutch had enough miles on it to see what the car will actually do. I've had 200+ MPH GP bikes and lots of pretty fast cars. This thing could get me in serious trouble - quickly. Traction control off and the wheels spun until I shifted into 4th and let up. The 315 PS2's are worthless even on hot roads. It builds speed/revs sooooo fast in 1st and 2nd, shifting fast enough is a challenge. Maybe a shift light will help. ?? The M12 tranny is probably overkill.

The car is just brutally quick when pushed hard yet cruises fine in 6th gear at 1000RPM.

It's just schizophrenic as hell and amazingly fun toy.

Sounds very awesome. Glad you're enjoying the new power.

Good luck on the search for traction.

Kevin it is awesome to have the traction issues, I have been used to it and gave a boost ride on Sunday and my passanger was amazed at the speed or tire spin depending on my right foot

With that being said, I believe I will be going with some 19s very soon, I want a taller tire as the car handles better, found this out when I had the 325/30/19 Hooisers on for the Texas Mile, ya I took it out for a 15 mile short Hill Country run to test the handling

Yeah I'm surpised you had them put the Z06 trans in there and didn't just put 3.42s back in w/ the MN6. The MN12 is = to your old setup w/ the 3.90 gears in everything other than 4th because it's 1:1 in both setups.

There was nothing wrong with the 3.90's I took out. It was the M6 that was getting tired. Roger made me a deal I couldn't turn down for the Z06 TT, tranny and diff. The M12 makes it easier to keep the car in the 4500RPM wide sweet spot.
