I live in St. Peters..... lots of damage all around us but nothing in my neighborhood. Highway 70 is closed from St. Louis out to St. Charles. Lots of damage in that area.... news said the roof was blown off Hollywood Casino in St. Charles but no injuries reported thus far. All quiet right now but more storms rolling in. Gonna be a wild night!!! Stay safe everyone!!

Haven't heard of any injuries so far but phone service has been spotty tonight. Even sending/receiving texts has been extremely slow. In what area does your friend live?

That's where I am, west of St. Charles. News is reporting a lot of damage all around this area, traffic at a standstill and the airport is shut down until they inspect the area due to some outlying buildings being damaged. I'm not real excited about the next round although they are saying it will be more of a rain maker.... about 2 more inches. Flooding in the area is REALLY getting bad!!

Hope you are safe and dry. Hopefully all we get is more rain, although with the ground already saturated we will probably see more local flooding. We have a creek in the back of our property that normally runs about 2 inches deep. The creek banks are about 12 feet high though because of what happens when we get a ton of rain

Just got a text from her. They are fine. Always worry about her. She is a single mom with two kids but is the best person in my department

I use to have a screen shot from when I lived in Lebanon, there were 19 tornadoes on the ground in the St. Louis area at the same time.
