Default Tornado on the ground outside of Saint Louis
Damn, crazy night.
Reports of one on the ground near St Charles . The sirens are going off where I live in Illinois just across the river. 13 minutes out according to the news.
Becka and I are downstairs. When we hear the sirens stop and the voice come on saying to take cover we will move into the interior room in the basement. Poured concrete walls on three sides

D othey still use the old Sirens, like they did years ago? Those suckers were just..ominous.

We just heard on the scanner that a tornado was on the ground near Kemper and headed toward Hettic. They just said on Channel 5 that areas East of Florissant are in the path, I hope this does not move through your area.
We have a storm room off of our basement as well. Hopefully we don't have to use it.
Just heard a tornado on the ground in Wood River. All hell is breaking loose that's for sure.

Be safe! Last year those ominous sirens and the news channel convinced me to get in an interior closet with the five dogs (ours and a foster)!

Fortunately, the really bad part of the storm bypassed us. Hopefully it does the same for yall.

Looks like round 1 spared us. Hopefully rounds 2+ blow themselves out before they get near St. Louis. All the rain and storms is getting really old. I read on Fox2 today that the weather service is predicting that the resulting flooding may be worse than '95.

We have a weather radio but we listen to the scanner most of the time. We get most of the local police/emergency bands. From the police scanner it sounds like the area of North St. Louis County was hit pretty hard again.

Looks like we dodged the bullet also. Watching Fox looks like some major activity still out by Lake of The Ozarks ( doesn't Cyber live out that way?) moving east
