My brother's great dane did that as a puppy. It was less cute when he kept trying to do it as a full grown dog.

12 weeks! He looks 6 months old there

I know the feeling, have had three shoulder surgeries in the past.
I recognize the sling!

Here's 5 months old ( full grown he'll be 150-160 lbs )

Those "wonderful" slings are more like an Easy Bake Oven in the summer.

We do a lot of taking him with so he gets to interact with other people and also for walks at the park. Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs can be gentle giants. They are extremely protective of their home and family.

Dan at the Beer Distributor has been giving him treats every time we stop over " He's going to be big, I want him to like me"

We just sent a German Shepherd/Husky mix home last week. Hopefully this family will keep her. They have had many Huskies so they should have an idea of what they are signing up for, lol. She's been out on 3 other trials and returned each time. The reasons are everyone fell in love with her looks (she is absolutely gorgeous) but couldn't handle her energy. She's less than 2 yrs old and has the energy/personality of her Husky side. I worked with her a bit over the summer teaching her some of the basic commands and some manners.

It's the only way.

Nothing against buying a pup from a good reputable breeder, but saving a pup is just better all around.
