I have had many dogs fixed over the years, and was a vet tech for years.
Sometimes they give a pain shot that lasts a day or so, ALSO, some pain is good with animals as it keeps them from doing too much/being too active and causing more harm.

Murmurs in young animals and even humans are not uncommon, they are called innocent murmurs and often resolve as they age.

Hopefully healing will progress and your pup will be back to normal.
