A few of us are getting together for dinner in Saturday, if anyone would like to join us.

Here's where we'll be:

This is a cool little spot in Hollywood. Great, family-owned, Mexican restaurant.

They have a private room that can accommodate us. Totally relaxed and laid back. We can hang out and not be in a hurry, have some good food and a few margaritas. The staff is very attentive and they aren't pissy about *ahem* lively groups.

The only down side to this place is parking. I usually park on Melrose and have to walk a block or two. I've never had any issues, but it's something to keep in mind.

If you know you will be coming, please respond here. If you're bringing your SO (or whatever), let me know, as well.

I would, but I just got back to work today after having the stomach flu. I don't want to hit my stomach with Mexican food so early after getting over this flu. It was nasty stuff.

Only 104 mi one way! I drive to LAX frequently, but not during drive-time. I would be swallowed up in traffic probably.

That's hilarious! My mother and grandmother used to live at 813 Vista, right around the corner from there! We used to go to the Olvera St. market for lunch.

They have a pretty diverse menu. I think there's even some harmless American dishes on there.
