Alan, housing will be shocking.. whether buying or renting.... my house in Ohio sold for $306 back in 2006. The house we bought in a new development was 1/2 the size and we paid $610.

I was told by a guy who was playing golf with my wife and I at Ka'anapali while we were on our honeymoon that Hawaii wasn't that expensive as soon as you understood that this is a Hawaiian $1 bill

I golfed there on my honeymoon as well. I think it was on the 12th hole that I nailed a Ferrari that was sitting in someones driveway....
