Nah, you're right. I'm sorry you have no sense of humor, and further were so easily spun into a tizzy. I totally didn't expect that to happen. OK. I totally did.

I came home for lunch earlier and Ringo had chewed up a pin cushion that was full of pins and also gotten in laundry room and spilled a whole bottle of detergent all over the floor. Denise wasn't home yet.

I have a great sense of humor. What you said was cruel and heartless. That makes you a flaming POS in my book. It appears I am not the only one that feels that way. Carry on.

Or, perhaps, do you want them to have compassion and tolerance for you in your Autumn years?

This VBOTer votes get another bed or something, along with spending more time with the dog. Even if it happens again, I think you should tough it out and keep the dog comfortable. You are family, right?

And instead of old cushions that someone is throwing out, get that poor baby a brand new doggie bed. If the price is an issue, you can buy a cheap comforter, sew up the sides and stuff it with some $5 bed pillows from WalMart.

I guess it's a good thing your approval doesn't factor into anything I do or don't do.

What type of material did you get on the dog beds?

They sell several different types and the Great Danes here have not been able to scratch thru the Cordura/vinyl fabric covers on their beds...even though they scratch on them almost every time they lay down.

All parts and covers on these dog beds are easily replaceable.

It was just the mesh, no actual covers. Bulldogs can be pretty tough on things. I mean, I've got brick corners of the house that have been gnawed down...

It appears they have a 1-year warranty on everything except the mesh style covers...

Tonight we heard this weird sound coming from the bedroom. I go to investigate and she's shredded one of these cushions! Picking up material and foam stuffing all over the floor.
The Mrs thinks we should find her another cushion. I think she's shit out of luck and she can lay her decrepit old bones on the bare floor.
What would the Barn do?
This is a fishing/joke thing right? You've had this dog for 10 years, do your Karma a favor and get her a normal dog bed.

awwww man, get the doggie a new bed....she'd do it for you! At the least, maybe you have an old comforter you could fold and make a nice bed for her. Isn't 10 years of loyalty worth a new bed for her old bones?

Did the pins cut his mouth?! Do you think he ate any of them?

Might have to check these out! My Basenji goes through a dog bed every 3 months or so.
