Default Introducing our newest rescue pup-DJ
Yep, we did it again! Our DJ came to the rescue from Chicago. He was the state's evidence in a felony cruelty case. We don't know what the cruelty was (I would only want to know so we might have an idea for triggers, otherwise, I'm afraid I would cry for days). The only thing we know is it wasn't dog fighting - that has to be reported. Anyway, we hadn't given any thought to getting another dog until I got DJ out a couple of weeks ago when Darrin and I had the girls at the rescue for a visit. I wanted him to see DJ in person because pictures don't do him justice. I met him when he was in the meet and greet yard the week prior to meet a potential sister. He showed her no interest, he was only interested in watching the birds, lol. The way he greeted our girls and they greeted him took us by surprise and planted the seed. Their first official meet went over great and he came for a trial adoption Friday. He is such a sweet, loving boy. He just lives for positive human interaction and loves his sisters. He is also daddy's dog. So, I guess you could say he picked us. We are now at our doggie limit,

Actually,NHRA-TA is a woman and she is my wife.

She volunteers at the rescue where we got our pups from.
