Well, the Trump era of no inflation and low and steady food, energy, commodity, and really everything prices are now just a halcyon memory.


Yesterday's visit to Aldis: eggs are $ 2.75/dozen

A couple weeks prior: eggs were $ 2.15/dozen

Any visit during the Trump era: eggs under $ 1.00/dozen


On the bright side, they not only had boneless, skinless chicken breasts, they were still $ 1.99/lb. I bought a big package of them to freeze. And hey, I'll eat healthier by rationing my now seemingly a bargain $ 2.15 eggs just a little longer.

Bright side: Fat people like me will fare better during the upcoming food shortages.

Wings Wednesday's died for me. Last week price jumped from $1.00 to $1.50 per wing at my Wednesday watering hole. I may as well get burger at that price.

Extra large eggs jumped to over $3.00/doz at Walmart.

Will these prices affect my life? Not at all. But it will definitely hurt most Brandan voters. Oh well, we tried to warn them.
