Interesting C&R
Never seen one before.......trigger group covered in goop trigger would not move.....good price, gun in very good shape after clean up. Barrel like new.....haven't shot it yet but all works great now

Same here. Very interesting. Experimental I'd guess. Magnums don't typically cycle well in a semi-auto action. Suppose that could depend on the engineering configuration of the gun to some extent but most reliable function typically happens using medium load components (bullet weight, powder weight and type). That 60 grain bullet is half as light as anything I've ever pushed with a slow burning (magnum) powder and that wasn't from a semi-auto.

Did a quick online search for info on it. Couldn't locate any historical references. Per the caption of an image I saw it was possibly named the M1 Carbine Ferrite Model.

I have 200+ rounds and dies so I will shoot it. The gap between the stock and sight has to be that big to take it apart the traditional way...i'll overlook it since it was a good price
