[Woodworking] front porch
the corbels (or whatever they are called) needed some attention, so today was the day to swap them out.
Found a spare 8x8 on the property, been out in the weather for about 11 years, so well dry and grey (like me), but the old 6x8 they were made out of was a bit wider, so had to insert a shim of 3/8" to fill the gap. white caulk will dry clear, sealing up some cracks to keep the water out. |
