no.
truck is kept in the garage, so it's partly heated in winter (50F), and in summer, while it might get to 90-95F on a warm day, as soon as the sun sets, the temp drops about 20-25 degrees overnight. and the garage doesn't get that hot either. |

I go bigger ( more CCA ) for my vehicles and purchase from Auto Zone. Identical CCA rating / warranty was $150 at AZ and almost $300 at the local NAPA
Plus the AZ installed it for free |

I switched from Optima batteries (overpriced and no better than 99% out there now ) as Johnson controls sold battery division, used to be the best around. Now i get Walmart battery for under 100. I had 2 Optimas fail under 3 years. I figure I'll get 4 to 5 out of Walmart battery and be money ahead...

I just replaced two Walmart batteries for my diesel truck. A lot of the electrical was wonky, and then the batteries started dying overnight. Walmart claimed they were both good. The Dodge house says, 'both batteries bad,' Well, a couple of new Mopar batteries solved most, but not all, of the electrical gremlins.
The batteries replaced? Less than 2 years old. No warranty because Walmart said they were fine. Grrrr. |

I've had very good luck twice with having Walmart replace bad batteries. They didn't even test them, just handed me a new one both times.

I mainly went with Walmart for battery since travel so much and if an autozone/advance isn't handy I'd be stuck getting a new battery. Seems walmart is everywhere. I got boned over an Optima when place wouldn't replace nor prorate and it wasn't 2 years old. No vaseline either...
